Climate & Weather
The weather in Spring is moderate sub tropical. Like most of southeast Texas, Spring enjoys mild winters and hot and humid summers. "Spot showers" are common from spring through fall on a seemingly daily basis for short periods of time (usually 10-30 minute spurts of rain). On the rare occasions it does snow in Spring, the snow is gone almost before it hits the ground. Tornado's, while not common, are not unheard of and the tropical storms from the Gulf Coast will affect the Spring area to a lesser degree.

Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens
Formal gardens, an arboretum, picnic areas and nature trails are all included in 214 acres. The facility is open daily except for Christmas day.
Old Town Spring
